Happy Holidays, 2012!

Another year has come and gone, and we're still here! (Those Mayans were wrong, luckily.) The entire Jellyneo staff has been thrilled to bring you another year of Neopets and Petpet Park coverage. We're all a bunch of Neopet fanatics at heart, and we're always humbled by the kind comments we get to read on a daily basis. Knowing that our work helps someone somewhere... it keeps us going. :) Here's to another great year! In the meantime, please enjoy this greeting from the entire JN staff!

Turn your speakers up!

Tip: Hover over each of the JN staffers... you might hear a personal "happy holidays" message! There are 18 of us that say something.

Can't hear the staff messages? No problem! Our transcripts for the messages are located below.

Bonju: Hey everyone, I want to wish you all a muy Feliz Navidad y un muy buen Año Nuevo!

Chesu: From all of us at Jellyneo to all of you in Jellyland, we wish you a happy holiday season. Don't forget to eat your carrots!

Dave: Hey guys, this is Dave. Just wanted to wish you a happy holiday and a great new year! See you in 2013.

Dream: Happy holidays, dear Jellyneo readers. May your stockings be full of surprises, your crackers full of jokes, and your turkey hopefully NOT full of Grackle Bugs. Here's to all the success you've helped us achieve in Year Fourteen, and a super-awesome Year Fifteen to come!

Herdy: T'was the night before Noxmas,
When all through the House,
Not a creature was stirring,
Not even a Miamouse.

The garlic was hung by the chimney with care,
Through fear that Saint Hubrid would soon be there,
The children were shaking with fear in their beds,
While visions of evil danced in their heads.

When out on the lawn arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter,
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow,
Gave horror of midnight to objects below.

When what into my wondering eyes should strut,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny Zomutts,
With a little old driver, so evil and cross,
I knew in a moment it must be Saint Nox.

And then in a twinkling a heard on the roof,
The pawing a prowling of each little hoof,
As I drew in my head and was turning around,
Down the chimney Saint Hubrid came with a bound.

His sly little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the points of his fangs were as white as the snow,
He was chubby and plump, a right rotten elf,
And I cowered when I saw him in spite of myself.

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had much to dread,
He spoke not a word, but when straight to his work,
And placed down his evils, then turned with a smirk.

And stretching his arms out into the air,
He flew up the chimney with significant flair,
But I heard him exclaim, as he flew out of sight,
Happy Noxmas to all, and to all a Good Night.

Jen: Hey everyone, Jen here. Ngā mihi o te Kirihimete ki a koe - Christmas greetings to you. Well of course us folk in the summer hemisphere enjoy a summer Christmas, so once again i'll be spending xmas day at the beach enjoying a nice cold drink. I hope you all have some nice Christmas traditions you take part in too. Happy holidays everyone.

Kayte: Helloooo everyone! It's Kayte here! Oh look its a Christmas cracker, ready? *bang* Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year!

Kumar: Hi everyone, Kumar here wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a relaxing holiday season and hope you all have a great New Year.

Link: Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
It doesn't show signs of stopping
And I've bought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

When we finally kiss goodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm

The fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we're still goodbying
But as long as you love me so
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from a very sick Link.

Max: Joyeux Noel, may your attack peas be plentiful and your swords sharp for the upcoming year. Best wishes to all!

Nick: Peanuts roasting on an open fire
Blitz throwing snowballs in your face
Yuletide--OH, HEY!
Merry Christmas from Nick on behalf of all of us at Jellyneo's Petpet Park Guide! If you're hearing this recording, there's a good chance we survived the Mayan apocalypse, so here's hoping your new year is filled with wonderful surprises... and that none of those surprises are the year's worth of homework assignments you've been putting off because you told your teacher the world was coming to an end.

Rosie: *whistles We Wish You a Merry Christmas*

Rylon: Hi guys, happy holidays and best wishes for the new year!

Now, several years ago, the former content writer Weepit and I put together a Christmas editorial. One of our plans was originally to have our introduction as a recording of myself reading a poem Weepit had written. Now unfortunately I never had a chance to finish the recording, but now it's finally time to try again and share it with yourselves! So without further ado...

Twas the day before Christmas
And the lounge was a mess
From the Staff's Christmas Do

Amidst all the wreckage
Stood Weepit and Ry
Whose task was to tidy
The festive pig sty

Editorial questions
Lay strewn on the floor
But their poor heads still ached
And their tummies were sore

They both agreed that
Before they could think
About answering questions
They needed a drink

But no cans were left
In the soda machine
The cupboards were empty
And the fridge shelves were clean

They needed some Neggnog
To make them feel merry
But all that was left
Was some flat Diet Terry

Admitting defeat
They swigged the vile brew
It tasted like earwax
Stirred up with hot spew

Weepit spluttered and gagged
Then ran to the loo
Ry turned a bright green
And gagged a bit too

But once they were done
With feeling quite sick
Ry reluctantly said
"Well, that did the trick!"

Weepit had to agree
With a shake of her head
And they got down to business
And started their ed

So yes, that's Weepit's editorial introduction that never was! I hope you enjoyed it, and once again, happy holidays!

SirCabbage: Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and everything else from... those sorts of areas.
I am SirCabbage and I am a new Jellyneo Staffer for the Battlepedia.
I would like to wish you all a good holiday season and overall would like to say Moo.
Now I would like to say moo a couple more times because, quite frankly I am completely unsure of what to say here.
So without further ado- momoo momomomoo moo moo moo moo. Moo moo moo moo moo. Moo moo moo Moo. MOOO.
Also, any neggs can be sent to me.... WAIITTT. Shouldn't ask for neggs... hrm, what SHOULD I do then?
Well, considering my time limit is going out, I guess I don't need to worry about that until next year!
Until then I can just say Moo again. Moo.

Skylar: Uhh... Hey guys? Did anyone leave out Christmas cookies for Socko Clause? We're going to end up on the naughty list again if Suzuka got to them first...

Summra Guys, I am in a huge conundrum here. I wanted to do something completely amazing for all you wonderful Jellyneopians for the holidays, but, doing a song is just apparently not working for me! I was thinking along the lines of "I'm dreaming of a Jelly Christmas!" But I get to the end, and... I just lose inspiration on the lyrics. The current working lyric for this: "and may all your Christmases be" - Jellified?! I mean, seriously, is jellified even a word? Am I going to have to consult the guys over in Content to add that to the Dictionary just so I can sing this song properly for you? *sigh* You know, if you guys weren't so amazing, though, I wouldn't be having this issue. So, keep on being awesome, and happy holidays!

Suzuka: Hark! how the pets
Sweet painted pets
All seem to say
Customize away
Neocash is here
Bringing good cheer
